Anger is such a stupid stupid emotion.
Helps no-one, not self, not others. Doesn’t provide any clarity. Likely to send you and others to places where you had no intention or real desire to go.
Panic is anger diffused and returned, existential anger at the universe for being beyond our comprehension.
I know what you mean. And yet, anger is the emotion that fuels our ability to fight injustice, in whatever form, in our lives.
These pesky emotions are there for good evolutionary reasons, however we feel 🙂 about them.
I reckon you are right (but I know other readers of this blog would disagree with us!). Perhaps “unharnessed anger” is the better phrase? But perhaps we need another phrase altogether, besides anger? (Righteous anger is no good, IMHO, because there’s still that blindness (the ‘red mist’, as we call it here…)
