I am hopeless at practical tasks. Metalwork and woodwork classes were a nightmare at school. I can now, closer to the end than the beginning, just about drive a nail and cook a meal (for one).
And, when confronted with an under-pressured boiler, I actually managed to watch a video (hat-tip to Mrs Towers) and monkey-see monkey-do myself into sorting out the problem.
It’s ridiculous to feel a sense of relief or accomplishment at such a trivial task, but there you have it.
Self-limiting beliefs eh, where would we be without them?
