The name game

There’s a fascinating piece from the New York Review of Books called
The Failure of the American Jewish Establishment,” written by Peter Beinart.
Anyone with a passing or more interest in the Middle East should read it.
It’s full of good information, interesting analysis. Here’s a quote from close to the end;

“In a more recent report on how to foster Zionism among America’s young, Luntz urges American Jewish groups to use the word “Arabs, not Palestinians,” since “the term ‘Palestinians’ evokes images of refugee camps, victims and oppression,” while “‘Arab’ says wealth, oil and Islam.”
