Or, how about this – join, but as a faux naïf prankster, merrily pretending that you believe the rhetoric. Make out like it isn’t bullshit, but absolutely logical. And then exaggerate. Take the (ill)logic to extremes. Grin and give knowing winks. That’s how you keep sane and honest – insanity and dishonesty aren’t conducive to humour.
